September 19th Prayer Update
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.””
We are blessed to have the privilege to go out and proclaim the hope we have and the love of Jesus through the sharing of the gospel. We thank the Lord for guiding us to the individuals we spoke with during our last outreach. Please pray with us for the Lord to continue giving us wisdom and guidance in pointing people toward Him. Please pray specifically for those mentioned throughout this report, that the Lord would stir their hearts with a desire to follow Him in repentance and faith.

During our September 19th outreach, our teams distributed:

We're excited to share an update from our Walkathon fundraiser! We are so thankful for all the Lord provides through the generosity of His people. We had more than 105 people join us, and it was a wonderful time of fellowship, encouragement, and coming together to support the mission of Hope680. We are so thankful for everyone who participated, donated, prayed, and helped make the day possible. We praise the Lord for His goodness and faithful provision!
Our Martinez team had the opportunity to speak with Jason, who shared that he is a Christian with a charismatic background and believes in Jesus. We were able to walk through the gospel with him, emphasizing that our good works cannot save us- salvation comes through Christ alone. Please pray that the truth of the gospel would continue to take root in Jason's heart and that he would trust fully in Christ for his salvation.
Our Walnut Creek team had the opportunity to speak with Eric (not pictured), who was very friendly and shared that he believes people can have different perspectives on salvation and that we can all be right and still go to heaven. We shared with him that Jesus said He is "the way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6), and that salvation is found in Him alone. Although Eric did not seem particularly open to the gospel message, we are thankful for the opportunity to speak truth with him. Please pray that God would continue to work in is heart and that the truth he heard would stay with him.
Our Vallejo team had a great conversation with Sue, who had several thoughtful questions about the books of John and Genesis. She seems to have a soft heart and carries a lot of sadness. Please pray that God would draw her closer to Himself through His Word and that He would provide comfort and relief for her back pain.
Our Livermore team met Danielle and Jose and had the opportunity to share the gospel with them. Danielle eagerly received a Bible but she wrestles with trusting in God's goodness after experiencing loss in her family. Jose was more receptive, and said he has been reading through the book of Judges. Please pray that the Lord would draw them to Himself and continue working through the truth they heard. Please also pray for Jose, as he is currently job hunting and his personal paperwork has been stolen on multiple occasions.
Our north Concord team spoke with Russell (not pictured), who was honest about his current view of Jesus. When we asked if he knew who Jesus was, he said he believed Jesus was "supposed to be" our Lord and Savior, but truthfully felt that He was just another man. We provided Russell with a Bible and encouraged him to read God's Word to discover for himself who Jesus truly is. Please pray that as Russell reads God's Word, his eyes would be opened to the truth about Jesus and that he would come to know Him as Lord and Savior, and that God would bring freedom from his drug addiction.
Our Vallejo team spoke with Harley, who shared that he knows the Bible is true but is not yet ready to follow Jesus and surrender his life to Him. Please pray that God would continue to work in Harley's heart, help him turn away from sin, open his eyes to the truth of the gospel, and draw him to Himself.
Our central Concord team spoke with JR (not pictured), an older gentleman whom we have spoken with many times in the past. JR continues to struggle with drug addiction. We were able to encourage him by sharing the hope of Christ, and we prayed with him. Please pray that God would bring freedom from his addiction and continue to draw him closer to Himself.
We also learned from a nearby group that they had experienced frightening encounters with individuals who were allegedly trying to run them over. Please pray for the safety and protection of those living on the streets, and that God would bring peace and protection to these vulnerable individuals.

Our ministry is a labor of love with the main purpose of providing gospel hope through practical means to the homeless. Thank you for serving alongside of us!
We continue to pray for those who might be able to contribute a small additional monthly gift of $25 or $50 a month to help with ongoing Hope680 expenses, including our ministry supplies, offices, and RV maintenance. We are trusting God to continue to provide through you!
