Hope680 is a gospel-centered ministry serving those experiencing homelessness along the Interstate 680 Corridor. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our donors, volunteers, and supporters. 4. SMS and Text Messaging
Consent
Hope680 sends text messages only to individuals who have explicitly opted in. By providing your mobile phone number and checking the opt-in box on our forms, you consent to receive text messages from Hope680 regarding ministry updates, events, volunteer opportunities, and donation campaigns.
Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to four (4) messages per month, though this can vary based on ministry activity.

No Sharing of SMS Consent

Hope680 sends email communications only to individuals who have provided their email address and opted in to receive correspondence from us. Email communications may include ministry newsletters, donation receipts, volunteer updates, and event announcements.
You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by contacting us at info@hope680.org. We use Mailchimp to manage our email list and communications.
6. Donor Information and Financial Data
Hope680 takes the protection of donor information seriously. We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information with any outside organization for commercial purposes.
Donations made through hope680.org are processed by FundraiseUp using Stripe as the payment processor. Payment card information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. FundraiseUp and Stripe are PCI-DSS compliant.
Donor records (including name, contact details, giving history, and communication preferences) are maintained in a secure donor management system (Bloomerang or DonorDock). Access to this system is limited to authorized Hope680 staff and volunteers on a need-to-know basis.
We follow the guidelines established by the Donor Bill of Rights, which affirms that donors have the right to have their gifts used for the purposes for which they were given, and to receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with the following third-party services to operate our ministry. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data practices:
• FundraiseUp and Stripe (donation processing and payment security)
• Bloomerang or DonorDock (donor relationship management)
• Mailchimp (email list management and communications)
• Nextiva (SMS and text message communications)
We do not authorize these service providers to use your information for any purpose other than providing services to Hope680.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, to comply with legal and tax obligations, and to support our ministry operations. Donors may request deletion of their personal information at any time, subject to any legal retention requirements (for example, financial records required by the IRS).

Hope680 operates in California and respects the rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). As a California resident, you have the following rights:
